Titus POV.

Today had been what was needed. Destinee had been through enough, 5 days in the cells, then the attack losing Dahlia, the 5 days of mourning and being guilt-ridden.

It hurt my heart knowing she was in pain, her heart was broken. I could feel it all through the bond. I had to give her space, but all I wanted to do was to just hold her.

I needed to show her she wasn’t alone, and it was ok to move on. I know she still blames herself. However, as heartless as it sounds, life has to go on. I decided I could no longer leave her to her depression locked away in her room. So I put my big boy undies on and took charge.

I know how much Destinee detests shopping, but still I took her; it was either going to work or fail and I’m happy to say it worked.

When she wanted to play the game with the shop assistant’s I think she was more shocked that I said I would play along, and it felt great to see her smile and come out of her comfort zone. The red dress I picked for her was for a joke be
