Pain 2.

The days passed like yellowish leaves until reaching the present moment:

"Shh, be quiet," he whispered, motioning him to remain silent. His clear gaze remained fixed without even blinking, just like the rest. "What day is it today?"

"What kind of question is that?" he replied with a furrowed brow, answering with another question. "Today is Tuesday," he muttered.

"We should all be in class, right?" the brown-eyed one said, looking at everyone at the same spot.

"Exactly," they said in unison. "But... we don't have class today."

"Ah...," they all said.

They were all sitting on the couch, looking over it towards the table a few meters away. They just observed, trying not to make any sound. They watched as someone came in and out of the living room, until finally sitting down and doing what they had said, doodling.

"Will she get better?" he asked, resting his arm on the back of the couch and his chin on his hand. "Several days have passed since what happened, and..."
