Chapter Sixteen

VANESSA'S POV 💋

I was rushing through the halls of the hospital as soon as I arrived there.

Ms.Sheldon was declared dead about an hour ago.

I was still at the doctors office when I got the call from Mikey.

"S-she's g-gone, I watched her d-die in front of my eyes" Mikey's voice was hoarse as he hiccuped on the other line.

My phone had dropped to the floor, to say I was shocked was an understatement.

I had met Mikey sitting in the waiting room with his hands tucked underneath his chin, and tears stained on his pale looking face.
