Chapter Thirty : Confession of the heart
Going home after work and meeting Dinah and William were excruciatingly tiring. It’s not a surprise. They are the kind of family that would literally steal your breath away with their air of arrogance with money that would last for more generations to come.
She keeps asking herself after that. Was it right for her to somehow forgive them so easily after everything that has happened?
Being a mother now, she has a daughter to think about. Unlike Alissa, Hope was able to receive the love of her grandparents and a father to cherish her, protect and spoil her with all their love.

Daniel woke up from the guest room, not wanting to overwhelm Alissa or make her more traumatized by what had happened if he were to sleep with her. Alissa was observing Hope playing beside the huge pool, next to the heated small rounded pool made just for kids at Jessica’s backyard. Something she has added on after her cousin has given birth to her niece and nephew.
