"That was exhilarating!" Faith cried as they finally walked away from the rides. On her insistence, they rode the first one again.

After that, they tried almost every other ride in the place, including one that spun them around and around on the skinniest piece of metal she'd ever seen.

She'd thrown up coming down from that one, after which she declared. "That. Was. Awesome!"

Devlin smiled at his companion indulgently. It pleased him to know that she was having such a blast.

"Okay, hold up." She stopped and turned back to him. "There's one last thing I want us to try, but I don't know if you have the balls for it."

She scooted close. "What is it?"

"You think the rides were scary? This takes it to the next level."
