Chapter thirty six

Melissa yawned stretching her stiff muscles then curled back into a ball wrapped the blanket tightly around her body,

She didn't want to get out of bed. Her mind and body wanted to stay in bed all day and do nothing at all but sleep.

"I made you breakfast," Kaden said coming into the room with a tray.

The aroma coming from the pancakes made Melissa drool uncontrollably and she sat up straight both her hands stretched towards him, ready to take the tray from him.

At this point, she was glad that he learnt how to cook. That way, he can just surprise her with breakfast in bed the way he just did.

" pancakes!" she said with a wide smile once he placed the tray on her laps, "Oh gosh how did you know that I was hungry and in the mood for pancakes?"

"Well everyone is always hungry in the morning and so I wanted to surprise my darling wife with breakfast in bed," He told her with a grin on his face.
