Eden Pov

It was a surprise that I was being kissed by Derek, I was in his arms and he was kissing me. Derek was kissing me. My eyes snapped opened and my hands found his chest and pushed him back breaking the kiss. My chest heaved up and down, out of breath and surprise.

“Uhm- I don't- you basically said you didn't like me like that.” I said having the courage to look up at him, he wasn't looking at me instead he focused on the ground.

“I know what I said Eden, I didn't forget any of it.” He answered calmly meeting with my eyes.

“So why? Why are you kissing me?”

“I don’t know.” He said raking his hands through his hair. “ I swear I don’t.”

My buttom lips folded and I licked my lips, chewing at the corners.

“This is chaotic,” I pointed out, now that we had kissed right in the middle of the room, it wasn’t going to be easy to dance back into the normality we were once in.

“Yeah, I’m sorry I kissed you, it was out of line. It was wrong for me to assume you would want to ki
