It was a few hours to the agreed wedding photo shoot and I’ve not said a single word to Percy in the past four days. We’ve barely crossed paths and even when we did, I made sure not to allow any exchange.

We were supposed to get to the studio at the same time in his car, so I left earlier by myself, I called Josh to come pick me up instead. When I got there, they were ready for me as so we prepared.

“That’s how she broke off the bottle and cried for the rest of the day.” The woman working on my hair narrated. She was talking about her niece and I really didn’t mind listening to her, it managed to take my mind away from the fact that I’ll be standing really close to Percy.

“So, where’s your fiancee? I noticed you came in here alone, didn’t you two come together?” I met her eyes through the mirror.
