I never really understood what happened to Percy that day, neither did he try to explain what was going on. We kept our distance as I wanted, no talk at home, small talk in the office. It was just as I desired until the day our pre wedding pictures flooded the internet. I was coming from grabbing a coffee from the break room when I noticed the eyes on me.

Half of the people around were staring at me and occasionally having glances on their phones, it was obvious that what they had seen was jaw dropping.

While I ignored the stares and entered the elevator a hand stuck out to stop it from closing, it was no other than Audrey.

I sipped my coffee while staring at my phone screen, the current chairman of mums company wanted to schedule a meeting with me, the board meeting was soon and he wanted to know when ill be free.
