It was a look of intimate familiarity and that was one of the reasons she felt hurt now she is thinking ‘what if she is just putting too much meaning to what she saw?’

He might actually be irritated by her and her doings but with how she was feeling at the moment, she couldn’t see things that way… he felt like he needed that hug from her when she entered and saw them like that.

‘He didn’t hug her back’ her mind told her but she ignored it and proceed to ask her previous question.

“Do you still have feelings for her?” she asked one more time and got her answer when he didn’t answer.

She bit her bottom lip to stifle a sob then looked at him with the tears pooling out of her eyes and down her cheeks.

“So, you still love her,” she said and he didn’t say anything but just looked at her.

They stared into each other eyes with hurt written all over their face.

“You don’t need to do this,” he said after a while and she shook her head and then closed her eyes as the tears kept coming down
