"I had been peacefully asleep for so long that I didn't even realize what was going on in my baby's girl's life. I'm so sorry sweetie." Her Dad apologized.

"It isn't your fault Dad. You don't have to keep blaming yourself."

"So when is the wedding then?" Her Dad asked.

"In a few days. I'm so scared Dad. I don't know what the future holds for me anymore. I don't wanna get married so soon and definitely not to some arrogant, ruthless guy. And then I think, what if I refuse to get married to Leone, Martini turns me into yet another one of his experiments. And if I agree, I'll be married and loveless for the rest of my life."

"You should really stop judging a book by its cover, don't you think so?"

"I'm not judging him by what I see. I'm judging him based on what I know. I mean, I've had several conversations with this guy. I know what he's like. He's rude, arrogant, selfish. This man thinks only about himself. He's only marrying me for the sake of his company. What else is there to know?
