Erland had just woken up, feeling very unmotivated, his face looking pale, his beard growing thick, and his hair very messy.

"Honey," called Maelie as she entered the room carrying a cup of coffee on a small plate, then handed it to Erland while sitting on the bed. "You look very pale this morning... I don't think you're ready to go back to work," she continued with a worried look.

Erland sipped the coffee and then sighed. "I have to go back to work. There's a lot I need to do because the company is going through major changes since we stopped working with Billy Johnson's company," he said.

"I have to help my father revive our company because this is all happening because of me," he continued anxiously, handing the coffee back to his wife before getting up from the bed.
