Margaux’s eyebrows knitted together as she stared incredulously at Hendrix. She then quickly scooted away as if he had a contagious disease.

She wanted to scold him and asked what he was doing. But she just kept her mouth shut knowing that Liana was there, intently watching them.

“Just stare at each as long as you want while the guards haven’t arrived to take Mr Mondragon away from you. This might be the last time you are going to see each other,” the secretary said while smirking at them smugly.

Margaux arched an eyebrow. She leaned her back on the couch and mirrored her expression, “Really?” she chortled.

The woman scoffed. As if she didn’t like her reaction.

But what can she do? The woman seemed too confident there won't be any problem coming in their way, not knowing that in a few minutes, the men she brought along with her were coming to save them.
