By this time now, Aria had stopped crying. She was wiping her tears, the tissue tracing her swollen eyelids. She held her forehead as it banged.

Elanne nodded her head. "So what are you going to do now?"

"I don't know but never again will I let any man hurt me and treat me the way they like. I'll never accept that... I'm simply going to give him the space he needs."

"But you said you guys are sorta married."

"It's a contract marriage thing. We could have simply nullified our drink marriage but he wanted me to pretend to be his wife and I agreed because I really needed the money."
