Thirty-Nine

Valerie's heartbeat pulsates, David was standing right outside her door and she didn't know what to do. Gina could have warned her beforehand but that wasn't possible since she wasn't aware of the situation either.

"Will you just say yes?"

Valerie glared at Jason, even in this moment, he only cared about himself. The man she loves was standing right outside her door and she was together with her ex in a locked room.

"Are you out of your mind?"

"Valerie, are you alright?" David's voice echoed throughout the door. "She is not opening up, is there a spare key?"

Valerie was sure he was talking to Gina who was probably worried about her as well.

"You have to hide"

"Why? You can just open the door and we can tell him the truth" Jason tries to touch her but she pushes him away.

"Get away from me you bastard. This is all your fault, you better make this go away. I told you to give me a week"

"Well I couldn't stay away from you and you're in no position to make demands. I own you now Valerie"
