Chapter 33 - Meeting His Grandma

Mr. and Mrs. Alejandro frowned, and his father finally spoke, "It's okay, Charles, besides, your mother only wants the best for you."

"Hmm...," Charles didn't counter what his father said and he kept quiet.

"You know, with what that young lady did, we still need the media to clear up the fact that you have nothing to do with the Marlon family again, and you're also no longer interested in their daughter either. Like your mother has discussed this with me and I think it's the best decision for now," President Nolan spoke, and Charles met his gaze.

"I know, dad, but I cannot cancel my trip. Arya will have to wait, or she can as well spend some time here with mother, and when I'm finally back, we can get to meet."

Charles didn't want to refute the fact that he wasn't interested in Arya or getting to know her, so as not to raise his parents' suspicion. After a while, his father asked him, "So when will you be back?"

Charles was silent for a while, and although he told his parents that he w
