Chapter 51 - Looking Shocked

The following day, Nancy woke up in her bedroom and thought about Sunday again; the new man that was making her heart beat erratically. She sighed and finally prepared to leave for her office. She knew that she sometimes avoided men's proposals as she knew exactly what they wanted.

Nancy finally slid out of her bed, took her bath, and prepared to leave for the office. After she was through, she exited her house and met Henry outside. Rex only waved bye to her while she muttered to him, "Good morning."

"Good morning Sophia, How are you doing today?" Rex stopped and asked Nancy as he walked up to his car door. Nancy was just realizing for the first time that she was the only tenant in the big house that didn't have a car.

"I'm fine, sir, and you?" Nancy asked him back. Rex smiled at her and replied, "I'm good. I will get to see you later, Sophia," Rex said, and Nancy smiled and answered, "Okay."
