59. Blood

Christian.

I had a lot of work to do at the office today, since Juliet had returned and had to re-fix some schedules that I had completely forgotten.

She came back and was not looking bright at all.

I understood her, given that she was just from mourning the only family she had.

"I'm not feeling really fine, Mr. Christian. I want to go home, if you so permit."

She stood in front of me, with head down, like she was avoiding my gaze. I couldn tell, because her face was looking everywhere in the office, but she avoided my gaze.

She was dressed in a white long sleeve shirt tucked into a pair of black tailored pants that were big at her angles. Her blonde hair was let loose.

She wasn't looking fine at all. Dark circles under her eyes and looked a bit shivering like she had a fever.

It was almost 6 PM. So she could go home.

"It's cool. You can go home. If you still don't feel better tomorrow, you can stay at home."
