Chapter 18. Letting go

Björn waited impatiently during the elevator ride, and he wanted to see Ava, even if it was just sitting there at her desk immersed in her work. The elevator doors opened, and he walked briskly towards the primary office. Sussan hurriedly got up and flashed him one of the smiles he had for him.

-Good afternoon, sir..." Björn stopped in front of the desk and raised a hand for him to stop.

-You're fired. -Sussan opened his eyes wide in shock.

-But sir..." He nodded slowly.

-You're fired. -He remarked in a tone laden with coldness. He placed both hands with open palms and rested them on the surface of the desk. Sussan was frozen in place with his heart pounding. -I don't allow harassment between employees in my hotel. Does it amuse you to shit on others for their appearance?

-N-No s-sir..." He gave her a look of restrained anger. She understood that she could not speak.

-Go to Laurent and finish your contract. -Björn ordered.
