He carries her gently and walks to the bed. When he was sure, he placed her down making sure to be extra careful. He pulls the shit over her tiny figure, caresses her hair and kisses her forehead.

Dave gazes at her sleeping face, she looks so innocent and beautiful. He couldn't bring himself to resist, not like he would have.
