I can't believe this, but this is happening, alright. The kiss earlier was beautiful. I felt like floating on cloud nine. It's the same feeling I have with him back then, but more intense this time.

We sat together side by side and were quiet. Everything around here was still dark, but the floating lights on the sea in front of us shimmered beautifully. They are dancing like how my heart is pounding hard right now.

"D-Did you have fun with all of your cousins?" I faltered as I looked at him.

"Yes. I did. They probably didn't notice that I was gone. I only excused myself to go to the toilet but ended up beside you." He smiled a little bit but wasn't looking at me.

My heart flutters, and I smile. I press my lips together to hide my nerves. He inhales deeply before speaking again.

"I drank a lot." He chuckled slightly, "So stupid of me." He shook his head. "About the kiss. . ." He paused and is now looking at me in the eyes.
