"Did you have a good time with her?"

Hendrix sat on the study table, crossing his arms together and suspiciously looking at me.

"Wiped off that smirk on your face, Hendrix." I whirled around, putting the remaining things my mother needed. This will be her room for a few days, and I'm organising all her things. Although I couldn't keep my smile whenever I was alone because of Quinn, I guess Hendrix saw what my freaking face looked like earlier.

"I haven't seen you smile like that for ages. Those hidden smiles reminded me of who you were back then whenever you were with Quinn. I'm not a fool, Xavion. I know you still like her, man."

He follows me now as I get out of my mother's room. I entered the room beside it. It's where my other room is located.

"And how do you explain everything with you and Quinn now? Don't tell me you two had a deal. Was it in written form or verbal? Come on, Xav, tell me. I want to know. At least a witness is needed, right? Look, I'm here," he sai
