Even Olivia was utterly shocked that her plan had worked. At that point she assumed the universe was with her as the fake Dolores belong to the same blood type as the actual Dolores; an important detail she had skipped until when the autopsy came out.

And so, while the entire family grieved the death of Dolores, she was busy torturing the woman. This went on for many years and she slowly watched the light leave the proud Dolores who had hoped that her family would find out she was alive and come to rescue her.
