Chapter 59: Find Kiandra

“Why do I feel like you're mad at me?” Liam asked casually. He squinted his eyes when he saw Lucas get up from his seat and walked over to where he was.

Liam already knew what to expect and so he calmly took the punch that Lucas gave him the next second.

He staggered back but he managed to regain his composure. “Your punches have become weak,” he mocked Lucas. Having grown up together, they had had their fair share of physical fights.

“You’re lucky we’re in the office or I swear, I wouldn’t have stopped,” Lucas growled.

“Why are you getting angry at me when I didn’t do anything?” Liam asked as he touched his jaw.

“You fucking left me on my own. If not that I had my penthouse to go to, I would have been stranded,” Lucas yelled.

“I don’t understand why you feel I left you stranded. I mean, I’m not the one who showed up unannounced at your house,” Liam defended himself. “And I did give a suggestion that you could go to your father’s house.”

Lucas moved to punch him but Liam wasn’t ready
