Chapter One hundred and Twenty One

It was the night of Stacy's baby shower and the party that Nadia had planned went better than anyone could have imagined, especially because of the additional guests that were invited, who were mostly Stacy's and Liam's colleagues from medical school. She invited Ryan too, but he was far out of the country and would not be able to make it.

The garden in the mansion was transformed beautifully into a perfect banquet, and the soft hum of beautiful music played in the background, blending seamlessly with the laughter and chatter of the people present, as they ate and drank with their faces lit with joy and merriment.

Liam and Stacy stood by one of the tables as they welcomed their few friends from the party that was invited from their medical school, while Nadia invited about four people from her new department at the WILLAND hospital without minding the ordeal everyone's tongues had put her through in the hospital.
