Chapter One hundred and three

Liam suddenly appeared on the yacht at the last minute when it was about to take off, when everyone thought that he was not going to come any longer. All day, they had tried reaching him on phone to not avail, and knocked on the door to his room several times for him to go out for breakfast. He answered no one, and remained indoors till it was afternoon.

One thing they were all so sure about, was that he was still at the premises of the hotel they were all lodged in, which belonged to Liam's uncle. The bodyguards around would have made it extremely difficult for him to leave even if he wanted to, in which their numbers surprisingly increased after he went to confront Evelyn.

“What happened?” His mother ran to ask him as he approached, her face etched with deep concern as she cupped his face with her slender hands, her eyes roaming his body to check if everything was fine with him.
