Chapter Seventy One

‘I thought you said that we would be eating alone. I wouldn't have come if I knew it was going to be like this!’ Liam texted his mother sharply, his hands trembling as he burned with repressed fury, upon seeing the most unexpected crowd at their supposed family dinner.

After the last fight, Liam had with his father on the phone, his mother, Tracy, had been trying to get both of them back together on good terms. She was deeply frustrated that her husband and son never seemed to see eye to eye, and had barely managed to convince her husband to set up a friendly family dinner outside their home where they could settle all disputes.

However, she had no idea that her husband would invite the Garcias to their private dinner too, making things more complicated than they were supposed to be. His intention for the shared dinner was not hard to decipher either.
