Chapter 20: A Mother’s Love

"Let's go?" I spoke to my friend Janice, who was still examining her appearance in front of the enormous mirror and moved the conversation forward.

Because of the clothes she was wearing at the time, she was unable to proceed. My friend had a lot of stuff that she dropped off her cabinet while we were just about to head out since we are going to be buying a lot of goods that we will need.

Since my employer has instructed me to share an apartment with him, I suppose I will have no choice but to comply with his wishes. I was merely wearing a plain cropped shirt at the time, and I paired it with high-waisted bottoms.

"You know what, you ought to dress up a little bit more.” She said this while we were sitting inside her car and arched her eyebrows as she spoke. "One thing that I noticed, Archer often drifts his eyes on you whenever you wear clothes which indicate a little spice on it," she said. "This is something that I noticed."
