Chapter 12: His Background

We ate there for a while when our meals were served. Roswell ordered a lot, and I don't think we will be able to finish it all.

"Enjoy our food, Kali," he said.

He brought other foods closer to me, so I just nodded to him and tasted the foods there one by one.

"You mentioned that you are a businessman. So, what business do you have?" I started to ask him.

He looked at me for a while and swallowed what he was eating before answering me.

"I have a lot of businesses, like a trucking business and a big farm in the province, and I can't list them because there are too many," he said with a laugh.

"Oh, and I also own the Dragon Empire Builders company," he added.

I almost choked on what I was eating because of the shock. I immediately drank water and tried to calm myself down. I don't know if I heard him right. He owns that company?!

"Y-You are the owner of that famous company?" I asked him again and again to make sure.

He laughed as he ate, then nodded and shrugged. I shook my head
