Chapter 10: What Are You Doing?

After I take Marissa out and buy her a few new things, she feels so much better and smiles from ear to ear.  It helps me get Brad off my mind for a little while and then when we get back I wait for him.   In the middle of the afternoon, he finally gets home. 

Sitting on the couch watching T.V., I notice that when he strolls in, he acts like nothing has happened.  Carrying in a few plastic bags from the grocery store and wearing a huge smile on his face, he looks really good I have to admit.  I sit up and watch him.

Standing up and yawning, I approach before he can reach his bedroom and stop him in his tracks.  Staring into his eyes, I ask,  "Brad, who was the woman you had in your room?"
