Chapter Fifty-Nine - She's Missing

I entered into the house to find an empty house. The quietness in the air was too alarming, feeling me with a bad omen. The only sound I could hear audibly, was the ticking of the clock. I directed my eyes towards it, to find out that it was half past noon already! Three solid hours have passed, since I left home.

“Roseville! Where are you? I'm back!” I half yelled, as I couldn't feel the presence of any being in large mansion.

Roseville was nowhere to be found. I rushed upstairs, to find out if perchance, she had slept off in the bedroom. I took swift steps, as I walked towards the room, my heart racing.

“Roseville! Are you here?” I wawled in expectation, I pushed the door open.

To my chagrin, I found an empty room. I was filled with dismay.

‘Where could she be? What could be wrong with her? Could she be playing some hide and seek game?’ I pondered, in my mind.
