Chapter Fifty Seven

The little boy whimpered as he sat in a corner of the room watching the woman approach him with a deadly looking whip in her hand.

He had no way of getting out because she had locked the door and pocketed the key. From the dead cold look in her electric blue eyes, he knew there’d be no mercy...not after what he’d done to one of her most trusted client who was right now smirking at him.

“Momma…” He began, tearfully hoping that calling her mother would make her see reason but the woman approaching him wasn't ready to listen. All she wanted to do was hurt him until he learnt his lesson.

“Don’t call me that you insignificant piece of trash! I’m not your momma!I should’ve gotten rid of you when I had the chance!”. She yelled in his face and spat on him.

“Momma...” His bottom lip trembled as he stared at her face. She didn’t love him? Why?. He couldn't understand why she didn't love him, why she couldn't love him when he loved her.
