Chapter Sixty Nine

Dante waited a month to strike much to Cassandra’s chagrin. She’d paid him for the job hoping he’d get right on it but he didn’t and when she confronted him about it...he offered to return her money if she wasn’t satisfied with his way of doing things.

“It hasn’t gotten to that." She pouted. "Fine do it your own way but I want all of them dead.”

“Including the kids?they seem innocent.” He said.

Cassandra gaped at him in shock. She couldn't believe what she just heard him say. Had a miracle happened while he was away?

“What?." He frowned.

“You now care about kids?.”

“No I don’t. I’d rather not have innocent blood on my hands." He shrugged.

“Whatever.” She muttered.

“How’s your niece by the way?”. He questioned.

“Still the same. She shrugged.

“It’s been months." He remarked. "She was hit that hard?”.

“Unfortunately." Cassie spat. "That fucking bitch Elyon hit her with a vase and damaged her brain.”
