Chapter Sixty Eight

Cesar felt strange as he alighted from the car then reached out his hand to help Ellie out. He felt as if he was being watched but when he looked around, he didn’t see anything suspicious.

He smiled at Ellie and they walked into the hospital, took the elevator to the second floor and walked over to the nurse’s station.

“Good morning sir, ma’am." The nurse greeted smiling widely at them. "Dr Quinn will see you now.” She gestured for them to go ahead.

“Thank you Sharona." Ellie smiled. "How’s Nathan?”.

“He’s good.”

They walked to the doctor’s office, knocked on the door and when they heard Dr Quinn’s response for them to come in they opened the door and walked in.

“Oh Mr and Mrs Sandoval, good morning.” Dr Quinn stood up to shake their hands then gestured for them to sit which they did.

“Morning.” They responded.

“How are you feeling today Mrs Sandoval?”. Dr Quinn inquired.

“Good." Ellie replied.

After Ellie’s blood and urine had been taken for test, they waited for the doctor to return
