LILY'S POV

I had one peaceful sleep after some days, and I could say that I slept like a baby, or maybe, like a log of wood. Who knows?

It did not matter how I slept, as long as I had comfortably closed my eyes and drifted off into the lady of dreams and visions.

Back then, I was usually disturbed by the sounds coming from the guards at night, but now, I did not have to worry about it

I was awake, but I felt lazy to get my ass off the bed. I just wished it was not morning already.

I closed my eyes again to see if I could fall asleep, but I heard some noise outside my room.

It was loud, but I could not hear them clearly. It came off as shuffles and groanings.

"What was going on?" I asked myself and shoved the duvet to the other side of the bed.

Sliding into my slippers, I walked towards the door, pinning my ear to the door, to get a grasp of what was going on.

My room was close to the sitting room, so I did not find it difficult to hear them. It seemed like someone had found me alre
