Whirlwind of emotions

Roman's POV

I sighed to myself as I scrolled through the messages Sofie and I had exchanged moments ago. I wondered if she was really doing well like she had claimed or if she was just lying to me.

I had seen how pale and weak she looked before we left home. I didn't want us to argue in Nathan's presence, so I just decided to let her go for her classes.

She didn't have anything to eat for breakfast and when I tried to get her to eat something, she got mad at me and asked me if my purpose in life was to always nag her.

I really didn't understand the sort of flu that Sofie had that made her so tetchy.

I guessed I'd have to wait for a while before asking her out on a date lest she snapped at me.
