I woke up feeling nauseous and to a sleeping Kyle, whose hand was wrapped tightly around my waist spooning me. Smiling to myself, I quietly got up so that I wouldn't wake him. Picking up my phone from the nightstand, I saw that there were two texts from my best friends Kate and Kayla.
They had each sent a message in our group chat, saying that we should meet up at Joe's bar in an hour. Shooting back a quick text I replied, “sure, see you in an hour. I have news.”
Placing the phone back on the nightstand, I walked to the bathroom where I stripped out of my clothes and stepped into the shower.
