Chapter 22

Anne kept pacing in her room. She had received a call from the company earlier, that the interview date and time had been changed and that she would be gotten back to.

"Gosh! I was hoping to ace this interview. I just hope they haven't gotten someone else or someone better to fill the same position." She thought to herself.

"I was really hoping to get this job after that useless man fired me. Now what am I supposed to do with myself?" She said aloud.

"What do I do? Where do I go? Who do I call?" She kept asking herself without an obvious answer.

She suddenly gave up hope and crashed on her bed, making it give a creaking sound.

"I don't even care if you break at this point. I'm tired of everything." She said as she looked at the bed and spoke to it.

She suddenly remembered she needed to call me.

"Oh my! I almost forgot, I need to call Drea." She said aloud as she looked for her phone and found it on a table in the corner of her room.

She picked up her phone and began to scroll through
