Chapter 26

Kelvin took me back to the Neurology Department to conclude my examination. He helped me into the room and made sure I didn't leave because I had already told him while we were on our way there that I felt suffocated and I wanted to leave.

"You can't leave the hospital, ma'am. You need to be perfectly fine before you do so." He had said to me.

I was initially silent, but then I thought to myself,

"Why is Kelvin nice to me despite the fact that his boss does not want to have anything to do with me.

"Ma'am, I'll come back to check on you later, but if you do not see me, you will definitely see someone else." He said to me and I snapped out of my thoughts, before he turned to speak to the doctors.

He told the doctors to take good care of me while he was gone and that they should make sure nothing went wrong. He also told them to keep an eye on me and that he would send someone else to come and stay with me. After that, he left the room for Sorin's immediately.
