Chapter 48

"Just leave me the hell alone! Stay out of my way and stay out of my business!" Sorin yelled at me and I closed my eyes.

I still had my eyes closed when I noticed he wasn't talking anymore. The loud sound of the door after he jammed it made me shake and open my eyes, only for me to realize that he had walked out of the room.

I fell to the ground in a crouching position, staring blankly at the dismantled alarm clock. I wanted to leave the room but I was scared. I didn't want to run into Sorin because it would definitely not be a fun scene. So, I thought avoiding him would be the solution. I soon began to soliloquize.

"When he wakes up, I'll remain in bed. When he dresses up, I'll not look at him. When he leaves the room, I'll remain in the room, but when he comes back into the room, I'll leave the room. That way, I'll be able to avoid getting into trouble with him."
