Chapter 66 "Scarier Than the Poison"

Sherly threw all the things on the table, including the plant vases of bonsai trees she’s raising for years.

A crashing noise of something breaking and hitting echoed inside her room. Broken pieces of vases scattered on the floor and at the vacuumed carpet. Soil dirtied the glossy floor.

From her bloodshot eyes, they showed how the resentment blossomed within her. Great anger thrummed through her veins, boiling the blood inside her veins. They thrummed hardly, pulsing and pulsing.

She looks like a volcano, as if there has been rage building up below the surface and she can’t keep in any longer.

“Damn it!” she shouted and slammed the table once again.

All of her plans got ruined. They failed to frame out Harriet and then what? She turned out to be whose daughter again?

“What? She is what?” Sherly spit nails from her mouth.

When Sherly imagined the face of Reese who introduced Harriet as Astell’s daughter, she was marinated with flaming fury. Questions piled up inside her.
