Chapter Eighty Nine

It was a beautiful Saturday morning and I was by the kitchen stove making rolled omelettes while humming a song whose title I couldn’t remember.

“Good morning, Mr. Walkers.” Lana who was standing a few feet away from me and assisted me in making breakfast suddenly said.

I glanced behind my shoulder to see Aziel standing at the doorway of the kitchen with Aurora in his hands. I lowered the heat of the stove and wiped my hands clean with a rag before walking towards Aziel.

“Good morning baby.” I said to my precious daughter who immediately began to giggle at the sight of me. She looked so excited to see me, flailing her arms up for me to carry her and I was even more excited to see her ‘cause she had been asleep when I woke that morning. I tickled her belly slightly and gave her a kiss on her cute button nose.
