Chapter Sixty Two

I couldn't sleep.

I'd been tossing around the bed for hours and it was until around 2 am that I decided to get off the bed. I threw the covers off my leg and got down the bed. Padding across the room quietly, I opened the door and went to the living room.

There was only one reason why I couldn't sleep and that the fact that Aziel was sleeping on the small couch--that looked really uncomfortable—when the bed was big enough for four people. Also the fact that he paid for the place and wasn't getting to sleep comfortably made me feel really bad.

I don't know what I'd been expecting to see in the living room, but it certainly wasn't Aziel sitting back on the couch with his laptop on his laps as he typed away.

What the...he was working at 2 frigging am just as few hours after us wedding? Is that all this man thinks of? Work? Doesn't he ever get tired or want to try something else.
