Chapter Eighteen. As Lloyd stood in front of Robert Wilson's office, what Hera said the day before came back to him. What truly would he do if Robert asked him to marry his daughter instead? Lloyd could count the number of words that he had said to Tia Wilson, but she was carrying his child and that was enough to spark protectiveness in him. He was not interested in relationships in general, but there was no way he would let his child be hurt. The picture of the child was not yet concrete in his mind, but he knew that in less than nine months a child would come and the he would have his DNA, the child would be his.Lloyd was not what he would do with the child, if he was ready to be a father. Some of the people that he went to highschool with already had children and it seemed like it was the universe telling him that it was time. There was also the fact that Tia happened to be William's fiancee. Lloyd had a strong gut feeling that Robert Wilson was the Rowling's new fish and they wou
Chapter NINETEEN "I will get her out of that house even if it means I have to kidnap her," Lloyd said when he got to Ian's office. The office looked more like a studio than anything, but Lloyd was not judging, it was the choice of his friend. He liked the entertainment world more than the business world."You will probably have to kidnap her, my stepfather will not let her go easily," Ian said and Lloyd nodded. He was regretting going to the office to see him at all, he probably put Tia in even more danger."If that is what I need to do, then I will do it," Lloyd said."Has anyone heard from Tia? We will need her insight on how to get her out," Lloyd said and Ian shook his head."I can help with that insight. From what I know and I have heard. My stepfather locked her inside her room and took away her communication devices yesterday. He is going to make a move very soon. We have to move with him," Ian said and Lloyd nodded."You need to help me, please. Please go to the house and se
Chapter Twenty"Are you taking me to your house?" Tia asked Lloyd as he drove."We are going to Vegas," Lloyd said and Tia looked at him shocked. What the hell was he talking about?"Vegas?" Tia asked and Lloyd nodded."You heard me loud and clear," Lloyd said."But why? What are we going to do there?" Tia asked. It was like she was being thrown from one to another."We are going to get married," Lloyd said."Married?" Tia shouted, she began to shake her head then."I do not want to get married. Why do you think I would want to get married, I was running from another marriage just now!" Tia shouted. She could not deal with all of that, she was just celebrating her escape from her father and William Rowling and now this? "Do you think your father will stop at this? He will try to kidnap you back and have you marry William, he cannot do that if we are already married. Besides, we are having a baby, and who says it has to be forever?" Lloyd asked and Tia looked him she was starting to s
Chapter Twenty One.Tia imagined her wedding day a lot of times. She thought that she would wear a white gown and she will be walking down the aisle with the man of her dreams in a larger than life church that housed a million and one guests, but she would be happy and that would be the best thing that happened to her, it would be the happiest day of her life. Many things about her current wedding were wrong. The first thing was the fact that she was not wearing a gown, but an over sized shirt and a pair of jeans, the second thing was the man, she was not getting married to the man of her dreams, or the man of her nightmares these days, but she was getting married to a man that she barely knew, but at the very least, she was getting married willingly. The third thing that was wrong was the fact that she was about to throw up. She was pregnant, she would have never pregnant in the wedding that she had in her head, but there she was, standing in front of a man that did not look fit to b
Tia felt herself drift into consciousness. She could feel her head banging with a headache, her entire body felt so sore. She struggled to open her eyes but they felt so heavy and she was so tired. It was one of those mornings that she felt she could sleep for ages. Even then, something felt like it was not right, the light was not coming from the right direction, the smell of the room was not hers. She was awake then, and she could feel a hand across her stomach, the fact that she could feel the skin to skin contact told her that her stomach was naked.Tia refused to open her eyes, she did not want to, she was afraid of what she would see. She was not alone in bed and she was not even in her bed. Several thoughts passed her mind, but she could barely think well, her head was still banging. She tried to remember what happened the night before, but all she could come up with was deciding not to cry over William any longer, she vaguely remembered getting dressed to go to the club. Tia g
Lloyd thought back to the confusing lady as he drove back to his house, Tia she said her name was. She looked a bit familiar but he could not put his hand on it. She was much different the previous night though, if he knew that she would be so cold the next morning, he would not have bothered. She wasn't drunk when they met, he was drawn too her because she was easily the first person that attracted him, she was new, it was not so obvious but it was there. She wore a little black dress and her eyes held sadness. Lloyd figured she was probably nursing a broken heart. He knew that because it was that easy to notice. He came to her and he started to talk to her. Tia was downing her drinks in such succession that he thought she was going to faint. She was drunk when she placed her lips on his, he was a little drunk too. Lloyd came to the club to unwind, the entire week, the entire year even had been hell to him, the stress was starting to get to him, he needed to just drink and forget for
Tia knew that her parents would not agree to her decision. Her father most especially really wanted her to get married to William. Tia knew that it was all for the good of the family, for the business. In as much as she loved her father, she had to admit that he was a very sexist man. He liked to call himself traditional. She was his only child and he would never leave his company to her, and that was why he wanted her to marry William. William would take good care of the company, but not of her. Maybe William would do wonders to the company, but not to her.Tia schooled herself for the lecture she would receive once she got home as the taxi parked in front of her father's mansion. At twenty-two, it was a bit unusual that she still lived with her father, that she did not have a job of her own, that she still utterly depended on him. It was something that her friend, Hera, always reminded her was odd, but Tia had been brought up in that manner, she had been groomed in such a way that h
"Hello Hera, how are you doing?" Tia asked her friend as she picked up the call."Oh well, you would not know if I jumped off a cliff and died would you?" Hera said sparkly and Tia groaned. She knew that her friend was upset since they had not talked in while. "I am sorry Hera. It has really been a while. I am sorry that we have not talked, please forgive me my love," Tia said to her friend, she had a smile on her face. Hera was a friend that was so easy to talk to, even if the day had been long and stressful, Hera made it very easy."Well you are forgiven, but that is only because I love you, and you are very lucky that I do," Hera said and Tia laughed. Her words are like a hug, it felt like she was right beside her."Of course babe," Tia said."So, what is the problem?" Hera asked Tia and she let out a long sigh, it really had been a long long day."I don't even know where to start," Tia said with a groan."Well there is no better place to start than the very beginning," Hera said.
