(Kim's Point of view)

It had been two days and I still hadn't gone home as I decided to remain in Ivy's home and it has been two days since I had been neglecting Arthur's calls.

If he was phoning and messaging, she hadn't done him anything yet. If she had done anything, I would have known anyway. I would never leave Arthur alone with the adversary.

I sighed as I heard my phone beep for the tenth time. I simply did not want to speak with him on the phone.

I grimaced when Ivy entered the living room with a cup of coffee in her hand. "That stinks, Ivy!"

She raised an eyebrow. "What's wrong with you, you've never despised the scent of coffee?"

I shook my head. "I simply want the aroma to be acceptable; I've just developed a sensitivity to a lot of things lately."

"Are you expecting?" She blurted out.

"What!" Flabbergasted, I exclaimed. "Where did you get that?"

It was now her turn to shrug. "I'm not sure. You know as a novelist, I've had pregnant characters before,"
