An Escape From Trouble

Ashley's Pov.

Sobbing quietly in my room, I heard a soft knock on the door, I knew who the person was because the knock sounded familiar.

"Just go, I don't want to talk to anybody. My ki is gradually slipping out from my hands and all of this is because I made the choice to protect my family from the monster called Nat. Now my life is going to be used to replace that of my family." I spoke out crying bitterly.

Tears rolled down my eyes shocking the bedspread I was lying on.

"Remember, when you feel sad, do one thing, that thing that makes you happy, that is what you should be doing now, things would get better and I assure you," she said sill with a low voice.

"Open the door let's talk" she concluded.

I lay there for a while without saying anything to her, a long pause silenced our conversation.
