“I’m sorry I made you feel that way,” His eyes burrowed into mine as he said the words and I could see the sincerity in them. Deep down, I truly wished he was being genuine this time. He reached for my palm that was resting on the bench and covered it with his. “I’m willing to work on myself to make things work, if you can give me another chance,”

“This would be the last,” I tried to sound stern just to get him to understand and see that I wasn’t playing around.

“Thank you, my lady,” He mimicked a slight bow and a smile slipped onto my face.

Since our arrival, I’m beginning to see that he had a wholesome personality when he wasn’t being an asshole. So yes, maybe we could make things work and I had a good feeling about this one.

“Wanna see something else?” a wry grin stretched his lips, and I narrowed my eyes at him, wondering what else there is to see in this property. It seemed we were already at the end and it definitely couldn’t get bigger than this, could it?
