KAI POV:

When I was younger, my mom used to sing this song. It was a story about a beggar who fell in love with a princess but turned out to be a prince. She got so into it that it was fun.

“Do you understand the song?” He had asked me once.

I had shrugged. “It’s about two people falling in love.”
