AN ANTIDOTE

"Where is this, Raf?" asked Ami when she realized they were nowhere.

"God damn, my phone is low bath," Cassie sighed.

"My phone, too," Ami replied.

Araf was silent. He slowed down the car as he continued to look for road signs.

"Let's just go back before ...."

And before Cassie could finish her sentence, their car tire exploded. Araf immediately balanced his swerving car. He also pulled the car over.

"I was just about to say something; it happened first!" Cassie roared when she got out and realized that one of the car tires had been blown out.

"Relax, there's still a spare tire," said Araf.

He looked down at the column of the car. But not long after, he stood back up and just grinned.

"Why, hurry up, it's cold outside," Ami protested, hugging herself.

"There's no spare tire," Araf chuckled.

"What?" screamed Ami and Cassie simultaneously.
