Chapter 14: Disappointment

"I'm sorry, you have to sign first if you want to borrow the magazine," the librarian said.

Derrick was dumbfounded. He glanced at his right hand which was currently holding the business magazine. He smiled apologetic and finally followed the employee and filled out the loan list and signed his signature.

"Is it done?" Derrick asked, who couldn't wait to run to the room where he was staying.

"Sure. You have to return it before you check out," the stiff clerk said and Derrick quickly nodded.

"Thank you," the young man said.

He immediately sped off after saying goodbye to the officer who just shook his head at the behavior of the young man who he thought was very strange.

Derrick impatiently pressed the elevator button while occasionally glancing again at the magazine he was holding tightly as if it were a magazine that was very precious to him.

"Oh, Vesa. You'll have to thank me later," he muttered proudly.

Derrick collided with someone while getting out of the elevator. "
